About Us

I’m Karuna Gingell-Beckmann, a systems-led operations and business architecture leader with 20+ years’ experience designing, governing, and scaling the platforms that sit underneath growth.

My work lives at the intersection of operations, data, and technology. I specialise in building and stabilising business systems — CRM, revenue platforms, automation, and operating models so organisations can scale with confidence rather than chaos.

From web systems to business architecture

My career began in web technologies and database management. In 2007, I started studying Web Technologies online, focusing on backend fundamentals, database architecture, data modelling, and system design. This included training in:

  • Database architecture and relational modelling

  • Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs)

  • Schema design, normalisation, and data integrity

  • digital technologies and early automation patterns

This led to the creation of WebHelp2Go, a business supporting small and medium-sized organisations with website administration, content management, SEO, and the systems that powered their digital presence. Through this work, I developed a practical understanding of how technology, data, and workflows either enable growth or quietly constrain it.

Commercial scale and growth leadership

As my work moved closer to revenue and growth, I completed a Sales & Marketing diploma at the Sauder School of Business (University of British Columbia), strengthening my grounding in go-to-market strategy and commercial execution.

I went on to hold senior sales and marketing roles within high-growth startups, including Orderbot, where I helped align CRM, automation, data, and revenue processes during a significant growth phase that ultimately led to the company’s acquisition.

From there, I continued into senior roles spanning sales, marketing, and operations across multi-million-pound startups and scale-ups. Across every environment, the same pattern emerged: growth breaks when systems and data foundations don’t keep up.

That insight permanently shifted my focus — from individual functions to end-to-end systems architecture and operational transformation.

What I do now

Today, I work as a Business Systems Architect, Transformation Lead, and Operations partner, supporting SaaS, fintech, service-based, and high-growth B2B organisations.

I help leadership teams:

  • design scalable system and data architectures across CRM, revenue, and operations

  • govern revenue-critical data models so reporting and decisions can be trusted

  • align people, processes, and platforms across Sales, Marketing, Ops, Finance, and Service

  • introduce automation and AI intentionally, without fragility or sprawl

I don’t just advise on strateg, I architect the systems, define the operating model, and lead execution so platforms evolve with the business rather than becoming constraints.

Permittor — operator-led systems innovation

Alongside my professional work, I am developing Permittor, an operations intelligence and governed workflow automation platform.

Permittor is designed as a system-agnostic layer that helps organisations design, govern, and orchestrate workflows across platforms and departments, without being locked into a single tool or vendor. It reflects patterns I’ve repeatedly encountered while leading complex operations: the need for cross-system visibility, governed automation, and durable process design.

Permittor is an active side project and R&D effort, grounded in real operational challenges and informed by my work across CRM, data architecture, automation, APIs, and platform governance.

Technical depth (without tool worship)

My background combines formal business education, database and systems training, hands-on technical work, and senior operational leadership, allowing me to bridge business and technology effectively.

I work comfortably across:

  • Database architecture & data modelling (ERDs, relational structures, lifecycle logic)

  • APIs & integrations (design, data flow, validation, governance)

  • No-code / low-code platforms (HubSpot, Airtable, Make, Zapier, n8n)

  • CRM and revenue platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce)

  • Automation orchestration and workflow design

  • Foundational programming (Python, JavaScript, SQL) for data handling, logic, and system understanding

This enables me to design systems that are robust, maintainable, and scalable — not over-engineered or brittle.

Professional development & credentials

I hold certifications across HubSpot, Salesforce, Airtable, and CPMAI (Cognitive Project Management for AI), and I am currently completing my Bachelor’s degree with the University of Hertfordshire, further strengthening my grounding in business, strategy, and organisational leadership.

How I work

Most consultants deliver a strategy and disappear. I operate differently.

I combine:

  • systems and data architecture

  • operational leadership

  • technical direction

  • delivery oversight

You get a partner who can diagnose problems, design solutions, and lead implementation — creating clarity, momentum, and confidence across teams.
