My journey into AI-driven transformation.
I’m Karuna Gingell-Beckmann (Linkedin), a Digital Transformation and Operations Strategist with over 20 years of experience in operations, project delivery, business systems, and digital growth.
I started my career in sales, but my curiosity for how things work pulled me behind the scenes. I studied Web Technologies and Database Management through BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology) and launched a WordPress Development and Support business and subsequently a Digital Marketing Agency. That hands-on business experience led me into tech, where I became a Sales and Marketing Manager/Director of several multi-million startups and I discovered my zone of genius: streamlining systems with AI from the perspective of RevOps and Systems (primarily HubSpot) to drive growth (see some of my work)
I don’t come from the traditional path of MBAs and corporate fast tracks. I built my career the hard way, through resilience, reinvention, and relentless problem-solving. That’s why when organizations face complex transformation challenges, I don’t just bring frameworks. I bring lived experience in navigating the impossible.
By 19, I had already survived challenges most people never face: abandonment, failed adoption, homelessness, and raising a child as a teen mother. Statistically, I shouldn’t be here. But those years taught me grit, adaptability, and resourcefulness, qualities that define how I lead transformation today.
I rebuilt my life several times over: from living off-grid in Canada and California, to working my way into the corporate world without a diploma, to building profitable ventures from scratch. Along the way, I discovered my ability to see systems differently, to map complexity, identify leverage points, and design solutions that scale.
A pivotal moment came when an entrepreneur advised me: “Learn systems, learn business, and you’ll never be stuck again.” I took that advice literally. I mastered web development, operations, CRM, and RevOps strategy. I broke into the tech world, built businesses, and now combine that foundation with formal education which includes a BBA and advanced AI studies at Oxford.
Today, I specialize in leading digital transformation, HubSpot architecture, and operational strategy. I partner with CEOs and leadership teams who need to move from fragmented systems and operational bottlenecks to clarity, automation, and scale.
